In recent years, Qingdao Port has firmly implemented the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and built a safe, convenient and efficient logistics “golden channel” by optimizing the allocation of sea- and land-bound resources, which has fully strengthened Qingdao Port as a “Silk Road Economic Belt”. The competitive strength of the "outlet" and "bridgehead" of the regions along the route provides trade convenience and efficient logistics support for countries and regions along the "Belt and Road".

  In terms of sea direction, Qingdao Port currently has more than 160 container routes, ranking first among ports in northern China. Among them, there are more than 70 direct routes to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Europe, the Black Sea, Russia, Africa, and Australia, building a huge maritime trade route network connecting countries and regions along the "Maritime Silk Road".

  In terms of land, Qingdao Port relies on the advantages of sea-rail combined transportation, strengthens the construction of inland ports, improves the grid marketing layout, and continuously increases the market share of sea-rail combined transportation.
